I Never Get What I Want

Very often I never get what I expected for in life. For example, I applied for teacher's Training and I was so confident that I would get the interview and enter the college. However, it was beyond my expectation. I was so disappointed when I did not get it. The moral of this story is I should not be over confident. It's good to be confident. However, being over confident isn't a good thing, and do not be too negative in life. Stay positive. I expect to get good results in my studies. However, most of the time, I fail to achieve my target or my goal even though I've tried my best in it. Life is very competitive and challenging. Is competition a good thing? I should learn to be satisfied and thankful with what I have. In life, when we have achieved something, we want more thing. In life, we expects a lot. We should humble ourselves and put God first in our life. Another attitude of mine is I always want to be others. For example, when people are better in their studies, I want to compete and be better. Most of the time, I can't be better. I feel disappointed easily. From now onward, I should learn to be thankful with what I have, just put the best efforts in my work and leave the rest to God. I am the one who decide and let God plans for everything. This way, life is always happy.

Last Saturday's Activities

Last Saturday, I had a busy day. I had my MUET exam for 3 papers [listening, reading and writing] components. Reading was the hardest part as I did not have enough time to answer even though I was given half an hour extra time. There are 45 questions for reading and the passages is very long and hard to understand. How to improve my reading? It can't be achieved by overnight. I have to do lots of practices. Listening was the easiest part. Initially, I was told that our exam was from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. However, I was informed at the last minute that handicapped students will be given half an hour extra for each paper. So my exam was until 2 p.m. I didn't bring much food and I was hungry. Since my exam was extended to 2 pm, i had to call my father to pick me up at that time and inform my piano teacher as normally my piano class is on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.Report writing was also difficult. I had finger-cramp for one whole day. After the exam, I was down with flu, cough, body ache and sore throat until today. On that same day, It was the election day of Sarawak. Barisan National won the election.

I Had A Bad Day

Yesterday, I had such an unlucky and bad day. It was the worst day I ever had in my life. I thanked God that other days will be better. It started in the morning. It actually it started on Tuesday afternoon when I went home from school. I felt offended by my resors friends. They always say words which can offend me. My class teacher asked me and my two other resors friends to go down to the resors room so that one of them, who is partially blind could read the notes for me yesterday. However, I already had problem with her. Since the teacher asked me to go down, we had to follow. My friends did not want to read for me and they kept gossiping about me. I went in to the resors room angrily with a serious face and bang my brailler. When my resors teacher asked what had happened, I didn't answer. I cried two times in school. No one talked to me in the resors room and I felt alone. When my sighted friends asked me, I told them my problem and cried a second time- a very bad cry. In the afternoon, when my mum picked me home, I received a bad news again. I actually applied for Teachers' training College to be a teacher using my SPM results. However, my application was rejected. I am not even called for interview. I was so sad and disappointed as I hope I can get out of Form 6. Yesterday, I didn't take my breakfast in school. I also lose my appetite to eat during lunch time. I cried again as I want to be a teacher. I would like to appeal. but how? What should I do? Then, I prayed to God. As I prayed, I cried. I felt that God heard my cry. I prayed that God will give me the best plans and strengths to face all the challenges in life. Sometimes, I feel that no one love me in school and nobody is sincere to me. I feel that I am hopeless in Form6. Even though my teachers have given me the encouragement to succeed in my studies, I still feel hopeless and no confidence. When I'm tired, I just go to sleep. How? How? How? How to force myself to study? I often have headache and pain. So I can't study.I cried four times yesterday. I felt weak and sick. Dear readers, that's all for my sharing today. Learning Experience

On the 8th and the 9th of April, I attended a workshop at Blind Centre, Kuching, Sarawak. All the blind were invited to attend the workshop. I have learnt many things during the workshop. Yesterday, SPA came to teach us how to register and apply for jobs. Today, Jabatan Kerja Malaysia or Malaysia Jobs helpers came and taught as well. We had to fill in our information such as name, house address, SPM/PMR results, and so on to apply a job. The job must be something we think that we can do. Next, assistants from Paybills Malaysia came to teach us how to pay bills online. However, I only learnt halfway and missed a lot as I had to rush home for piano lesson this afternoon. I also missed this afternoon's session which is e-commerce. Never mind I thought. I still have a long journey. I was glad to meet my old friends again. We have not been together for years and finally we met again this two days. I was shocked and glad to meet Cikgu Rahim and Cikgu Fadzlin yesterday. They also came to teach us. In the two days time, I really enjoyed and learnt new esxperiences. It was a wonderful experience. Hopefully this workshop will be conducted again in the coming years.

Dear all, Whatever our religions are, let's just take a moment to be thankful for all the blessings wh have and I'm sure we have plenty to be thankful.This is one of the nicest e-mails I have seen and is so true:

I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels.

My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, 'This Is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to GOD said in prayer are Received..'

I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world..

Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section.

The angel then said to me, 'This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them.'

I noticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for delivery to Earth

Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the Door of a very small station To my great surprise, only one angel was Seated there, idly doing nothing. 'This is the Acknowledgment Section,' My angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed 'How Is it that there is no work going on here?' I asked.

'So sad,' the angel sighed. 'After people receive the blessings that they asked For, very few send back acknowledgments .'

'How does one acknowledge GOD's blessings?' I asked.

'Simple,' the angel answered. Just say, 'Thank you, LORD.'

'What blessings should they acknowledge?' I asked.

'If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy .'

'And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in the world who has that opportunity.'

A Cherokee Legend

Do you know the legend of the Cherokee Indian youth's rite of Passage?

His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him an leaves him alone. He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it. He cannot cry out for help to anyone.



Once he survives the night, he is a MAN.

He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad must come into manhood on his own.

The boy is naturally terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wild beasts must surely be all around him. Maybe even some human might do him
harm. The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he sat stoically, never removing the blindfold. It would be the only way he could become a man!

Finally, after a horrific night the sun appeared and he removed his blindfold.

It was then that he discovered his father sitting on the stump next to him.

He had been at watch the entire night, protecting his son from harm.



We, too, are never alone.

Even when we don't know it, God is watching over us, Sitting on the stump beside us.

When trouble comes, all we have to do is reach out to Him.

Crazy but not Stupid

Crazy but not stupid NICE ONE with a Moral



One truck driver was doing his usual load delivery at a mental hospital, by parking his vehicle beside an open drain.



He discovered a flat Tyre when he was about to return from the mental hospital. He jacked up the truck and removed the flat Tyre to fix the spare Tyre.



When he was about to fix the spare Tyre, he accidentally dropped all the four bolts in the open drain.



As he cannot fish the bolts in the open drain, he started to panic as to what should be done?



Just then, one patient happened to walk past him and asked the driver as to why he was looking troubled.



The driver thought to himself, since there is nothing much he can do or this mental joker can. Just to keep the bugging away, the truck driver informed the whole episode to the mental patient and gave a helpless look.



The patient just laughed at the truck driver and said you just cannot even fix such a simple problem? No wonder you are destined to remain a truck driver for life.



The truck driver was astonished to hear such a compliment from a mental guy.



Here is what you can do said the mental guy.



Take one bolt from each of the remaining three Tyre's/wheels and fix it on to this Tyre. Then drive down to the nearest workshop and replace the missing ones. Isn't it simple my friend!!!!



The truck driver was so impressed with this quick fix answer and asked the patient, how come you are so smart and intelligent and you are here at the mental hospital?



The patient replied...hello friend! I stay here because I am crazy but not stupid.



No wonder, there are some people, who behave like the Truck Driver, thinking that others are just stupid. So, guys, though you all are learned and wise, but, just watch out, there could be some CRAZY guys in our professional / personal lives, who could give us lot of quick fixes and brush our wisdom.



The moral of the story is - Just do not conclude that you know everything and do not judge people by mere looks/attire stature or academic background.

I Pity Japan

I am writing this to confort the Japanese not to feel sad upon the
tragedy that took place last week. God is a merciful. God bless you
Japan. We are trying to help by praying and giving donations to you
Japan. As Malaysian, we all should feel proud as there is no tsunami
or earthquake in our country. We are consider lucky. We pray that God
will stop bringing all the disasters to this world and we pray for

My Role In Creating A Peaceful World.

I believe that everyone aims for a peaceful and harmonious world.
Everyone of us plays a major role in creating a peaceful world. As a
blind person, I have my vision of how to make this world peace as
well. I will not give up in realizing my vision. A peaceful world is
very important to ensure the safety of the world. If there is no peace
in this world, we will live in fear.

Firstly, I can contribute peace to this world by playing piano. Most
youngsters are musically-inclined. They can play many types of musical
instruments such as the guitar, violin and piano. Being able to
produce music on an instrument is one of the greatest pleasures that a
person can have. "Music soothes the savage beast", as it is said. One
does not have to be a savage beast to be soothed. Everyone is soothed
by music. Music heals the soul. There are many types of music such as
classical music, baroque music, etc. Everyone enjoys listening to
music as it is lively. Music helps to release stress after a long
period of working. This vision can be realize if everyone appreciates
music.

Next, a peaceful world can be achieved through religion. Every
religion teaches us to be good. If we follow our religious teachings,
we will not be influenced by negative activities. Religion plays a
major role in creating world peace. In Christianity, peace is one of
the nine Fruits of Spirits. To improve our personality, we can bring
our friends and relatives to church. In this way, we will be able to
accept Christ who is our savior. Individually, we should often pray
for peace because only God can give us peace. Peace is a fundamental
doctrine of Christianity and humanity. Sometimes, it is very
disappointing to depend on others to give us peace as they can let us
down. The younger generation of the world can realize this vision if
everyone cooperates with each other and respect others no matter what
religion they are.

As a blind person, I always complain and grumble about life. I am
always feeling unhappy with my weaknesses. But I try to improve
myself. I feel that we should always be happy with what we have. We
should put aside all the negative thoughts that we have and be more
optimistic. This can create a peaceful mind and heart. Although I am
blind, I have a deep sense that this world is no longer beautiful.
Everyday, when we read the newspapers, we encounter news of terrorism,
criminal, world war, etc. We feel sad upon reading these tragic events
that take place between countries.We are worried most of the time
about our safety. In 2009, I encountered a serious problem when my
parents fought and quarreled all the time. This created a habit for me
to constantly lock my door when the quarrel took place. So I did not
have peace almost everyday and felt miserable all the time. I now
realize that it is important to maintain our family relationships.
When we have problems, we should discuss in a nice tone of voice. We
should consider the feeling of others. Parents should be educated on
marriage. They should not find the easiest way to divorce with the
other party. This will affect the children's emotion. Marriage problem
can be solved if husband and wife are faithful to each other. They
should be God-fearing and obey the teaching of Christ. A happy family
can be achieved if one bears the burden of each other. If the whole
community is happy, the world will have peace as well. I often cry
when I face problems. I easily feel offended and hate those who have
hurt me. As a good Christian, I should learn to forgive others. Hating
others will not give any peace to me and also to the world. I have
some friends who are caring about me. They have touched my life by
giving me a call and listening to me when I share my problems with
them. As I cannot see, I need protection. I do not want to be
harassed. I must not worry so much as others have worst problems than
I have. To create a peaceful world, everyone should be happy, joyful
and love one another as one family.

Last but not least, there should not be any racial discrimination in
this world. The situation that happened on 13th May 1969 gives a
lesson to us for not repeating the mistake again. We should learn to
accept and understand other races and cultures. One should not
criticize about the weaknesses of other races as it causes
misunderstanding to the world. No one wants to live in the world of
tragedy. Therefore, the younger generation should start now to mix
with those of different colours, languages and races. In the past, our
world was not peaceful. We suffered from World War I and World War Ii.
There is much changes now. I hope the harmony and peace of the world
