I Want To Express My Emotional Feeling

Finally I've vomited out everything that is in my heart today... My anger aroused... I taught 8 students today and I really forced myself to stand when teaching.. I can't stand standing for long time especially after 1 hour, I'll get very tired. Some of my students are very stubborn, likes to disturb me and doesn't listen to my instruction. I feel tired of life... Life is so boring... I feel bored about life...Everyday going through the same life: when I wake up from sleep, I've to rush to work and when I come back, I'll be tired, I'll do something at night and go to sleep.again.. Working life is definitely not easy. and Today, I scolded my students, "If you think you are so smart, then you don't need to attend my class. You all just play games, listening to songs, but you all have not done what I want you to do... I ask you to memorize the positions of a till z in the keyboard help on.. and, the latest time for you to enter the class is 15 minutes and after 15 minutes, I'll not tick your name... I know you all are older than me, but please respect me... Please cooperate... How do you feel if you are a teacher and your students do not want to listen to you? Will you feel angry? Surely you will, right? So please listen to my instruction." Today, is the worst time I've ever had. I used my fullest energy to shout when I taught them.. I've to remind myself to be strong. I've to be strict otherwise students won't learn anything. I've not been resting since this morning. and I scolded my students again," I only teach you until the middle of March. after that, I don't know who's going to replace me. So please bear with me. Please don't pretend to ask me questions if you have already known the thing." I've headache.. One of my students only come for half and hour after that he disappear... He does that without my permission. How am I going to take attendants??? "students, please do not give me headache... I just need your cooperation very much... I'm not going to teach you for long... and I'm sorry if I hurt you but it's for your own good. I can't shout. Once I shout, I'll have sorethroat..."" and not only that... This morning someone from Scotland came to the center. He's a photographer. He asked me to perform and I was nervous therefore played with lots of mistakes. My boss just told me this morning that there will be a function on this Thursday and I'll need to perform some songs. So I've to prepare in a rush. O m g... How can this be??? so hard to decide which songs I should play... I'll definitely play "San Hai Tan, and Kongsi Kongsi" which is a C n y song. However, I'm not sure whether I want to play grade 5 or grade 8 song for another choice. Grade 5 piece is easier and shorter than the grade 8 one. how??? have one more day to prepare... I've not practised for quite sometime due to my recorder being spoilt by my teacher b4. how??? stress stress stress depressed depressed depressed.... How to do last-minute practice and decision? I just practised after I came back from work till 9 pm. However, I played with some mistakes.. I'm afraid the songs I'm going to play is too simple and ppl may recognize the mistakes I'll make. whereas the grade 8 piece is too long and I don't think ppl will love to listen:instead they will feel bored... I'm so restless and emotional.. really feel tired. I aim for perfection.. What if I perform on Thursday with a single mistake? How how how??? The newspaper reporter will come on that day too. It's on the 2nd Feb, Thursday at 9 pm... should I play simple or difficult pieces?? That's why I always worry as I aim for perfection. I know the life of a teacher now.. teachers always have to face naughty students and shout when teaching. One more thing: I've to organize a computer course in March during the school holidays. I'm making the proposal now. I'm doing everything alone at the same time.. The proposal needs to be handed by this Friday. This Friday I'll be busy as I'll go out the whole day... so I've to send the proposal by this Thursday... o m g... How come everything come at my hand at the same time??? So stress stress stress and crazy.. I think I'll not be able to sleep this 2 nights. Should I sleep at 12 a. m?? Do I really need to force myself? The Singaporean work till 6 pm. I told my colleagues when they after 5 pm, they can't work. and, I feel angry and can't concentrate when ppl ask me questions when I play piano.. ppl? are you taking advantage of me??? Please understand my feeling b4 you do something la... Don't let me ignore you and not teaching you when I really lose patience... I really lose my patience today. I really hate one student. He has behaved rudely to me.. I think if he does that again, I'll chase him out of my class.. again, all these are challenges to me.. Maybe, when I really work next time, I'll have to face them.. today, when I scold my students, I scolded at the same time shed my tears. I feel like crying out. Colleagues also the same.. I dislike them as they always do something not nice when the boss wasn't around and keep saying they are stress.. When I'm stress, I just keep quiet. I just release by writing or praying... If you are stress, I'm also stress... Please understand la.. When I greet or call, you never answer but instead: you touch my private part.. hey sigh. Please do not do to others what you don't want them to do to you... and to students and colleagues, I know you are of other races but please respect me as everyone needs to be respected...I have to end here.. I'm sorry I write this with anger.. I just can't control myself today.
Readers,I'm once again so sorry if I write about sensitive issue today that hurts you.. I just want to express my anger on my blog again since I've no one to talk to now. Sorry ya.. Beg for your forgiveness..
Please pray for me for the better.
Thanks and may God bless us all.

A banana leaf meal on paper

PETALING JAYA: You've had “paper thosai”. So how about paper banana leaf lunch?

Breaking away from tradition for the sake of hygiene and due to a
shortage of banana leaves, a popular restaurant chain has decided to
replace the leaves with bio-degradable paper “lookalikes”.

Kanna Curry House, which is famous for its South Indian banana leaf
meals, is now serving the dishes on paper “leaves” that look like the
real ones.

Patrons settling down to a banana leaf lunch at a popular restaurant
in Petaling Jaya. But it was a banana leaf spread with one big
difference. - RAJA FAISAL HISHAN /The Star
“We have a shortage of banana leaves,” said restaurant assistant
manager Muthu Kumar, 23, at the chain's Section 17 outlet here.

“Another reason for the change is because a lot of our customers have
been complaining that the leaves are dirty. For us to clean each leaf
individually is just too much work.”

He said the restaurant chain used up to 5,000 banana leaves daily.

Muthu added that the change would be implemented at the other outlets
all over the Klang Valley.

“Some of our regular customers said using the paper leaves take away
the authenticity of the traditional banana leaf meals.

Breaking tradition: An employee of Kanna Curry House showing the
difference between the banana leaf (left) and the paper leaf.
“However, most of them don't mind the change as it ensures
cleanliness,” he said.

A regular customer at the restaurant's Section 17 outlet for over 15
years, Mary Chong, 48, said although she preferred having her meals on
a “real” banana leaf, she would continue to patronise the restaurant
because she enjoyed the food.

“The paper leaves take away the feel of a banana leaf meal, but the
food still tastes the same,” she said.

Shamrat Sengupta, 34, who frequents the outlet for breakfast before
heading off to work, said it was “strange to eat from leaves made of
paper, but at least it was clean”.

Malaysian Indian Restaurant Owners' Association president Datuk R.
Ramalingam Pillai said he did not foresee other banana leaf eateries
in Malaysia following suit and replacing organic leaves with paper
ones.

“Indians have practised eating on banana leaves for centuries. In
Malaysia, the banana leaf meal is a staple among locals and has even
become a tourist attraction.

“It is true that it is harder to get the leaves now, but in my
opinion, banana leaf restaurants should not stop using real leaves as
it takes away the authenticity of the traditional meal,” he said.

Food Snippets: Barley

Barley with its chewy texture and slightly nutty flavour when cooked
is a major cereal grain and is a member of the grass family.

It is starchy, hence it can be prepared like grains such as couscous or rice.

Barley is said to have originated in Ethiopia and Southeast Asia, and
has been cultivated for more than 10,000 years.

In ancient times, it was used as food for people and animals and to
make alcoholic beverages.

Barley water was also used for various medicinal purposes.

High in fiber: Barley is a major cereal grain, a member of the grass family.
Although in this region, barley is often consumed as a drink, it can
also be used in soups, stews and breads.

Whole grain barley is high in fiber, rich in protein and is good for
the health as it is is regarded as having numerous health benefits.

Barley contains high levels of dietary fiber and selenium (a type of
antioxidant).

Recent studies suggest that a diet high in beta-glucan from barley
helps lower blood LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol).

Barley may also help stabilise blood glucose levels, which may benefit
people with diabetes.

Sprouted barley is naturally high in maltose, a sugar that serves as
the basis for malt syrup sweetener.

When fermented, barley is used as an ingredient in beer and certain
distilled beverages.

It is the main ingredient in the making of beer and whisky.

It also serves as a major animal fodder and as a component of various
health foods.

In appearance, it resembles wheat berries, but it is slightly lighter in colour.

how to get police to catch burglars quickly when you are old

Phillip Hewitson, an elderly man, from Norwich UK, was going up to bed, when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window. George opened the back door to go turn off the light, but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things.

He phoned the police, who asked "Is someone in your house?"

He said "No," but some people are breaking into my garden shed and stealing from me.

Then the police dispatcher said "All patrols are busy. You should lock your doors and an officer will be along when one is available."

George said, "Okay."

He hung up the phone and counted to 30.

Then he phoned the police again.
"Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people stealing things from my shed. Well you don't have to worry about them now because I just shot them." and he hung up.
Within five minutes, Six Police Cars, a SWAT Team, a Helicopter, two Fire Trucks, a Paramedic, and an Ambulance showed up at the Hewitson`s' residence, and caught the burglars red-handed.

One of the Policemen said to Phillip, "I thought you said that you'd shot them!"

Phillip said, "I thought you said there was nobody available!"
(True Story) I LOVE IT!
Don't mess with old people

Your Colon & Your Health

Kids are proud to show off their poop—but most adults rarely glance inside the toilet bowl. But the truth is...Examining your poop is one of the best ways to find out what's really going on in your body. So take this quick quiz to get the inside scoop on your poop!
Question #1: How long does it take you to have a bowel movement?
[ ]Less than 60 seconds [ ]More than two minutes
Answer: Healthy bowel movements happen within 60 seconds of sitting on the toilet. The stool should easily come out without straining, grunting or any discomfort. It should have the consistency of toothpaste. If you have time to read a newspaper while sitting on the toilet—you probably have a problem with constipation or poor bowel health.
Question #2: What is the shape of your stool?
[ ]Long like a banana [ ]round, hard pellets [ ]thin, pencil-shaped
Answer: Healthy stool averages about four to six inches long and are shaped like a banana or a torpedo. Very narrow, pencil-shaped stool is a sign your colon walls are impacted or you have polyps or growths on the inside of your colon or rectum. This causes the stool to squeeze to get through. Stress can also create narrow stool.
Hard, round or pellet-shaped stool is a possible sign of poor liver function, lack of exercise, dehydration or constipation.
Question #3: Is your stool accompanied by foul odor?
[ ]Yes [ ]No
Answer: Gas or odor is a sign of a bacterial imbalance in your intestinal flora. The "bad" bacteria release foul-smelling gases and toxins that can cramp your colon and create embarrassing odors. You can eliminate this odor by removing debris and encrusted feces from the walls of your intestines and restoring the balance in your intestinal flora.
Question #4: What color is your stool?
[ ]Yellow [ ]Green [ ]Brown [ ]Gray [ ]Black [ ]Bright red
According to Mayo Clinic research, all shades of brown and even green are considered normal stool colors. And the foods you eat can affect the color of your stool. For example, beets, tomato juice, blueberries, popsicles and green leafy vegetables can affect your stool color. However, a distinct change in stool color can be a warning sign for health problems.
Yellow-colored stool indicates your food is moving too quickly through your digestive tract—as in the case of diarrhea. If stool is greasy or foul-smelling, it may indicate excess fat caused by malabsorption of nutrients.
Green-colored stool means your food isn't properly being processed through your intestines. As a result, bile isn't broken down—and gives your stool that green color. Green stool can also mean you're eating too much sugar, fruits and vegetables and not enough grains or salt.
Gray or ashy colored stool indicates undigested fats or heavy use o f prescription or over-the-counter drugs that contain aluminum hydroxide. It can also indicate a lack of bile in the stool that may be caused by a bile duct obstruction.
Black stool is a serious warning sign for bleeding in the upper gastrointestinal tract—possibly the stomach.
Bright red stool may indicate bleeding in the lower intestinal tract—possibly the large intestine or rectum. Hemorrhoids may also be the source of the bleeding.
Question #5: Do you pass gas while you're having a bowel movement or have you noticed air or bubbles in your stool?
[ ]Yes [ ]No
Answer: Air or bubbles in stool can indicate an intestinal imbalance. Gas producing bacteria may be overgrowing and competing with the healthier flora in your gut.
Please know this: A normal bowel movement happens within 60 seconds of sitting on the toilet.
There should be no straining, pain, bleeding or foul odor accompanied with your bowel movements.
And wiping afterwards should be easy and simple—using just one or two pieces of toilet paper!
If that's not your experience in the bathroom—then you need to give your intestines a thorough internal cleaning!
When your colon is in danger—it will do anything and everything to send out an S.O.S. for health!
If you notice strong body odor—especially under your arm pits......Or if your friends shy away and frequently offer you breath mints—LISTEN to your colon—it's screaming for help!
And INTESTINAL parasites can also trigger:
Painful gas and bloating
Irritable bowels
Runny stool or diarrhea
Allergies
Skin outbreaks
Insomnia
Poor immune system
Muscle pain and joint soreness
And much more!

A strange twist of fate

RECENTLY, I read an article that blew me away.

Monique van der Vorst from the Netherlands is a 27-year-old
silver-medal winning Paralympian who had been confined to a wheelchair
for 14 years.

She had been an athletic kid who excelled in tennis and hockey when a
routine ankle operation resulted in nerve damage and left one leg
paralysed from the hip down.

Most people would consider it a terrible tragedy — to lose the use of
a leg because of an accident in the operating room.

It wasn’t reported whether Monique, at 13 years old, mourned the loss
of her leg, but it was clear that after the incident, she took up
handcycling and competed nationally and internationally.

She won six European and three world championship titles, reported The
Sunday Telegraph.

I gaped in horror when I read that in 2008, Monique was hit by a car.
Her spinal cord was damaged and left her completely paralysed from the
waist down.

Anyone would have thought it incredibly tragic and unfair that life
could get so much worse for someone so young and brave.

Yet, later that year, Monique won two silver medals at the Beijing
Paralympic Games.

I was sitting there on the couch, reading this incredible piece of
news and feeling in absolute awe of this woman who is only a year
younger than I am.

Then I got to the part where she got into another accident, in 2010.
She was training on her handcycle when another cyclist hit her hard.

Again, she was back at the hospital.

And what can only be described as a miracle happened — she started
feeling sensations in her legs.

Over the next few days, Monique was able to stand. Within a few
months, she was able to walk.

“After an accident in 2010, my body started to change. After a long
and hard rehab period, I am back on my feet again. For me, a new
competition has started now,” she wrote on her website.

It was reported that Monique has swapped her hand-bike for a regular
model and has started racing competitively.

She told The Sunday Telegraph that she does not expect to be strong
enough to take part in the 2012 Olympics in London, but her goal is to
cycle for the Netherlands in 2016 — as an able-bodied cyclist.

At this point, I could not help but think, “Wow. If it was me, I would
never have been able to overcome such odds with courage and spirit.”

Then I remembered something that my aunt had once said when someone
told her they admired her ability to raise a child on her own while
working and that they couldn’t possibly do it.

“How do you know you won’t be able do it?”

Anger, frustration, tears and despair — these are emotions that many
of us associate with the inability to do something.

Feelings and emotions are part of being human, but they are not what define us.

For example, someone may feel inadequate that he can’t make more
money, but it does not make him an inadequate person.

One may feel frustrated at not being able to walk, but it does not
make you a frustrated person.

The one thing that defines us is our mind. Sometimes, we make the
mistake of thinking that our minds want something when it is our
emotions that shout for it.

When we allow our emotions to take over our minds, we often think of
ourselves as the victim.

When we see ourselves as the victim, it is only natural to helpless.
Instead of trying our best to get out of a despairing situation, we
think that we deserve better.

After trying briefly, we get even more upset that the situation has
not turned around. It’s like saying “Why is life so unfair? It’s not
like I didn’t try!”

I do not think Monique van der Vorst saw herself as a victim when she
was paralysed. And if there ever was a secret to achieving great
things, Monique probably had it down when she wrote on her website:

“If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it,
change your attitude, but don’t complain…”

When we complain about something, it means that our minds have not
found a solution to the problem, or that we have not overcome it.

If we’re complaining about the same thing day after day, it means
we’re dwelling on it. When we are living in the past, we are not
taking full advantage of the present.

I do not think for a moment that it was easy for Monique to overcome
her emotions and strive to achieve what most would consider
impossible.

I am sure she had moments where she felt like quitting. I am sure
there were times where she gave in to her emotions and wept at the
pain and unfairness of it all.

If you are climbing a steep and treacherous hill, there will be
moments where your shoes will get caught in rocks and you’ll stumble.
Moments where you feel so tired you have to stop and catch your
breath.

If you are with a group of people climbing this hill, you will see
some turning back the way they came, thinking that there is no way
they would be able to get to the top.

You will see some simply stopping, happy that they have managed to
climb this far but do not feel like they need to go further.

Some will rest for a while and trudge on. They will fall and get up.
When it rains, they climb slower or wait out the storm before heading
upwards.

All three kinds of people are like you and me, normal human beings who
make our own choices in life.

When it comes right down to it, it matters little how good your shoes
and climbing equipment are, and sometimes, even how experienced a hill
climber you are, because the power of the mind overrides any physical
and emotional challenge or pain.

People who achieve the unbelievable have incredibly strong minds,
which they train and exercise constantly.

If we do not allow our emotions and ego to control our mind, we are
never paralysed. We will never be the victim; nor will we be helpless.

Towards the end of the article I was reading, Monique said in the interview:

“Do I believe this is a miracle? I don’t know. I do believe there is something.”

“But I don’t believe you can sit back and wait for miracles. You have
to believe in yourself.”

World's Famous Disabled People

Albert Einstein

The Mathematician & Physicist who had a learning disability and did
not speak until age 3. He had a very

difficult time doing math in school. It was also very hard for him to
express himself through writing.

Christopher Reeve

Never has a person with a disability commanded so much media attention
in recent history. Christopher

Reeve, crippled after a horse-riding injury, wants to be up on his
feet & wants to help others stand

confident too. His life is now dedicated to harnessing the power of
medical research to get up & ride

again.

David Blunkett

The Rt Hon David Blunkett MP is without doubt Britain's most famous
guide dog owner. Often

photographed with his guide dogs - Ted, Offa and Lucy - David Blunkett
also holds the powerful political

post of Home Secretary. Joining the Labour party aged 16, he was
elected to Sheffield City Council aged

22. He was the council leader from 1980 to 1987 until he was elected
MP for Sheffield Brightside. Seen as

the archetypal municipal Socialist, he is in many senses a traditional
Labour man - beard-wearing and

blunt-talking. Arguably, he is a role model for disabled people who
just want to get on with their lives.

Edison

Edison had a learning disability. He couldn't read until he was twelve
years old and had a very difficult time

writing even when he was older.

Franklin D. Roosevelt

Roosevelt had Polio, was governor of New York State then elected
President of the United States for 4

terms.

George Washington

Had a learning disability. He could barely write and had very poor
grammar skills.

Goya

Spanish painter (1746-1828): At age 46, an illness left him deaf. He
went on to create the most famous

to create his most famous epic,

Paradise Lost.

Lord Byron

"Mad, bad and dangerous to know", Britain's great romantic was also
born with talipes, a club foot. It is

said that he "walked with difficulty but wandered at will". He toured
Europe extensively and captured the

popular imagination through his poetry and his personality. From
gloomy egoism through to satiric realism

he was renowned for his writings, his sexual ambivalences and his
championing of Greek independence

from the Turks. Disability activist Tom Shakespeare summed him up in
the following way: "Most of his

poetry hasn't stood the test of time, but he was a blockbuster in his
day, and like very few other heroes, his

name is still used as an adjective - 'Byronic', meaning

dashing."

Lord Nelson

Viscount Horatio Nelson is certainly Britain's greatest naval hero.
His skill as a naval commander is, of

course, well-documented. He won crucial victories at Trafalgar in 1805
and the Battle of the Nile in 1798,

during the wars with revolutionary and Napoleonic France. What is less
often remarked upon is that a great

part of his naval career and his major victories were won as a
disabled person. Going ashore in Corsica

following the fall of Toulon, a French shot flung debris into his face
leaving him without sight in his right eye.

Later, an assault on Tenerife resulted in a shattered right elbow -
back on his flagship the arm was

amputated. He carried on as a disabled seaman for nearly ten years,
securing his most important naval

victories at the Battle of the Nile and the infamous Battle of
Trafalgar - where he died on October 21, 1805.

Contrary to popular belief, he didn't say "I see no ships". Instead he
said, during the Battle of Copenhagen,

"... I have only one eye. I have a right to be blind sometimes" and,
raising his telescope to his blind eye, "I

really do not see the signal".

Marla Runyan

One of the women representing the Unites States in the 1500 metre
track event at hte 2000 Olympics was

Marla Runyan. The American runner finished seventh in her preliminary
heat and rose to sixth in the semi

finals to qualify for the finals. During the final race, Marla lost
track of the major competitors. She finished in

eighth position, 3.20 seconds behind the gold medal winner. In 1996,
Marla set several track and field

records at the Paralympics in Atlanta, Georgia. Following that
success, Marla wanted to compete in the

2000 Olympics in Sydney -- even though she is legally blind. The
31-year-old runner has been diagnosed

with Stargardt disease. This is a condition that leaves her with a
limited ability to see what is in front of her.

In Sydney, Marla became the first legally blind athlete to compete in
an Olympics.

Marlee Matlin

Marlee Matlin is a stand-up comedian and an actress. Some of her films

people instantly recognise. Formerly Tanni Grey - the Thompson was
added following her marriage in

1999 - she has competed in Paralympic Games since 1988, representing
Britain at distances ranging

from 100m to 800m. She has won fourteen paralympic medals including

A Touching Story from a Father.

My wife called, 'How long will you be with that newspaper? Will you come here
and make your darling daughter eat her food?'

I tossed the paper away and rushed to the scene. My only daughter, Lisa, looked frightened.

Tears were welling up in her eyes. In front of her was a plate filled with rice
and vegetables. Lisa is a nice child, quite intelligent for her age. She has just
turned eight. She particularly detested the broccoli. I cleared my throat,
and picked up the plate.

'Lisa, darling, why don't you take a mouthful of this plate? Just for Dad's sake, dear.'

Lisa softened a bit, and wiped her tears with the back of her hands.

'OK, Dad. I will eat - not just a few mouthfuls, but the whole plate."

'But, you should...' Lisa hesitated. 'Dad, if I eat this entire plate, will you give me
whatever I ask for?'....

'Oh sure, darling'.... 'Promise!'......... 'Promise'.

I covered the pink soft hand extended by my daughter with mine, and clinched the deal.

'Ask Mom also to give a similar promise', my daughter insisted.

My wife put her hand on Lisa's, muttering 'Promise'. Now I became a bit anxious.

'Lisa dear, you shouldn't insist on getting a computer or any such expensive items.
Dad does not have that kind of money right now. OK?'

'No, Dad. I do not want anything expensive'.

Slowly and painfully, she finished eating the whole quantity.

I was silently angry with my wife and my mother for forcing my child eat something
that she detested. After the ordeal was through, Lisa came to me with her eyes wide
with expectation. All our attention was on her.

'Dad, I want to have my head shaved off, this Sunday!' was her demand.

'Atrocious!' shouted my wife, 'A girl child having her head shaved off? Impossible!'
'Never in our family!' my mother rasped.

'She has been watching too much of television. Our culture is getting totally spoiled
with these TV programs!'

'Lisa darling, why don't you ask for something else? We will be sad seeing you
with a clean-shaven head.'

'No, Dad. I do not want anything else', Lisa said with finality.

'Please, Lisa, why don't you try to understand our feelings?'

I tried to plead with her.

'Dad, you saw how difficult it was for me to eat that food'.

Lisa was in tears. 'And you promised to grant me whatever I ask for.
Now, you are going back on your words. Was it not you who told me
that we should honor our promises no matter what?'

It was time for me to call the shots.
'Our promise must be kept.'
'Are you out of your mind?' chorused my mother and wife.

'No. If we go back on our promises, she will never learn to honor her own. Lisa,
your wish will be fulfilled.'

With her head clean-shaven, Lisa had a round-face, and her eyes looked big and beautiful.

On Monday morning, I dropped her at her school. It was a sight to watch my hairless
Lisa walking towards her classroom. She turned around and waved. I waved back with a smile. Just then, a boy alighted from a car, and shouted, 'Lisa, please wait for me!'

What struck me was the hairless head of that boy.
'May be, that is the in-stuff', I thought.

'Sir, your daughter Lisa is great indeed!' Without introducing herself, a lady got out
of the car, and continued,' That boy who is walking along with your daughter is
my son Harry. He is suffering from... ... leukemia.' She paused to muffle her sobs.

'Harry could not attend the school for the whole of the last month. He lost all his hair
due to the side effects of the chemotherapy. He refused to come back to school
fearing the unintentional but cruel teasing of the schoolmates.

Lisa visited him last week, and promised him that she will take care of the teasing issue.
But, I never imagined she would sacrifice her lovely hair for the sake of my son!
Sir, you and your wife are blessed to have such a noble soul as your daughter.'

I stood transfixed. And then, I wept. 'My little Angel, you are teaching me how
selfless real love is!'

THE CARPENTER - really beautiful

Once upon a time, two brothers who lived on adjoining farms fell into conflict. It was the first serious rift in 40 years of farming side-by-side, sharing machinery and trading labor and goods as needed without a hitch.

Then the long collaboration fell apart. It began with a small misunderstanding and it grew into a major difference and finally, it exploded into an exchange of bitter words followed by weeks of silence.

One morning there was a knock on John's door. He opened it to find a man with a carpenter's toolbox. "I 'm looking for a few days' work," he said. "Perhaps you would have a few small jobs here and there I could help with? Could I help you?"

"Yes," said the older brother. "I do have a job for you. Look across the creek at that farm. That's my neighbor. In fact, it's my younger brother! Last week there was a meadow between us. He recently took his bulldozer to the river levee and now there is a creek between us. Well, he may have done this to spite me, but I'll do him one better. See that pile of lumber by the barn? I want you to build me a fence an 8-foot fence -- so I won't need to see his place or his face anymore."

The carpenter said, "I think I understand the situation. Show me the nails and the post-hole digger and I'll be able to do a job that pleases you."

The older brother had to go to town, so he helped the carpenter get the materials ready and then he was off for the day. The carpenter worked hard all that day -- measuring, sawing and nailing. About sunset when the farmer returned, the carpenter had just finished his job.

The farmer's eyes opened wide, his jaw dropped. There was no fence there at all.

It was a bridge .. A bridge that stretched from one side of the creek to the other! A fine piece of work, handrails and all! And the neighbor, his younger brother, was coming toward them, his hand outstretched..

"You are quite a fellow to build this bridge after all I've said and done."

The two brothers stood at each end of the bridge, and then they met in middle, taking each other's hand. They turned to see the carpenter hoist his toolbox onto his shoulder.

"No, wait! Stay a few days. I've a lot of other projects for you," said the older brother.
"I'd love to stay on," the carpenter said, "but I have many more bridges to build."

Remember This...
God won't ask what kind of car you drove, but He'll ask how many people you helped get where they needed to go.

God won't ask the square footage of your house, but He'll ask how many people you welcomed into your home.

God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet, but He'll ask how many you helped to clothe.

God won't ask how many friends you had, but He'll ask how many people to whom you were a friend.

God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived, but He'll ask how you treated your neighbors.

God won't ask about the color of your skin, but He'll ask about the content of your character.

God won't ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation, but He'll lovingly take you to your mansion in Heaven, and not to the gates of hell.

God won't ask how many people you forwarded this to, but He'll ask why you were ashamed to pass it on to your friends...

Gastric.

Abdominal pain is the most common symptom of a gastric ulcer. This pain can be burning, gnawing or aching, and it might feel similar to hunger pains. The pain occurs anywhere between the navel and the breastbone, and occasionally spreads to the back. The most common location for gastric ulcer pain is just beneath the rib cage on the left side of the body. Gastric ulcer pain frequently attacks within two to three hours of eating a meal but can also occur at night when the stomach is empty.
Indigestion
Another common gastric ulcer symptom is indigestion, which typically involves a burning sensation in the middle of the chest. This indigestion can make a gastric ulcer sufferer burp, belch or hiccup quite frequently. Some gastric ulcer patients feel a slight choking sensation during a bout of indigestion. The indigestion usually disappears after taking an acid reducer or an antacid. This symptom is frequently mistaken for simple heartburn or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
Other Symptoms

Gastric ulcer patients can suffer from a host of other symptoms, including headaches, dizziness, light-headedness, fatigue, weakness and pale skin. Gastric ulcers occasionally produce scar tissue that obstructs the passage of food through an individual's digestive tract. This can cause the patient to vomit frequently or feel quite full after eating very little. Some individuals report feeling bloated after eating, while others complain of significantly decreased appetite levels. All of these factors can cause unintentional weight loss.
Bleeding Gastric Ulcers
Bleeding gastric ulcer can trigger less common but potentially more serious symptoms. A bleeding ulcer can cause a patient to throw up bright red blood or to vomit digested blood that looks similar to brown coffee grounds. A bleeding ulcer might also cause a patient to pass stools that contain dark red blood or to pass black stools that look like tar. All of these are signs of a severe gastric ulcer. Any individual suffering from these symptoms should schedule an appointment to see a doctor as soon as possible.

UHT milk in a box

It comes in a thick cardboard box and can be kept without
refrigeration for six to nine months if unopened. Is it really milk?

UHT milk has been available in Malaysia since the 1970s. When it
entered the market, it had to jostle with milk powders, condensed
milk, evaporated milk and pasteurised milk for a slice of the big milk
pie.

Now, 40 years on, UHT milk has not only managed to become a mainstay
on supermarket shelves, its consumption has in fact been increasing
year on year, reports Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad, Malaysia’s
leading milk brand and the first company in the country to market milk
in UHT packaging.

Michael Ockerse of Pureharvest says UHT results in a greater
reduction in bacteria and heat-resistant enzymes. “We attribute this
to the increase in awareness of the benefits of milk, coupled with
trends that indicate that a bigger portion of consumers rely on the
convenience that UHT packaging offers,” says Aznil Sharizat Mahidin,
head of the corporate communications department in Dutch Lady.

“Also, as the socio-economic status of consumers improves, UHT milk is
often the preferred choice over family powdered milk,” she adds.

Still, market research indicates that the most popular type of milk
consumed in Malaysia is sweetened condensed milk – that’s what goes
into our teh tarik.

But what exactly is UHT milk? And how can it last so long without refrigeration?

UHT stands for Ultra Heat Treated or Ultra High Temperature processing
– a method of sterilising food by heating it to temperatures upwards
of 130°C for a few seconds, and then rapidly cooling it. The procedure
is used for sterilising fruit juices, soymilk, soups, ketchup, salad
dressings, and particularly, milk.

“Pasteurisation is the minimum amount of processing for milk as
required by Australian law and is specified as 72°C for 15 seconds,”
explains Michael Ockerse of Pureharvest, one of Australia’s largest
organic milk producers. At Pureharvest, UHT milk is processed at 132°C
for two to three seconds.

“The increased temperature at which (UHT) milk is treated results in a
greater reduction in bacteria and heat-resistant enzymes in comparison
to milk that undergoes pasteurisation, giving it an extended shelf
life,” explains Amar Srivastava of Australia’s largest milk processor
Murray Goulburn, whose company produces Australia’s top UHT milk
brand, Devondale, brought in by Pok Brothers Sdn Bhd.

Pasteurised milk and UHT milk are both packed aseptically after the
heat treatment, the former in milk cartons, and the latter in Tetra
Paks.

“Tetra Pak has seven layers to maintain the quality of milk and reduce
bacterial contamination,” explains Srivastava.

The Swedish patented packaging box is made from layers of polyethylene
plastic to keep it airtight, foil-laminated to keep out light and
thick cardboard layers to provide structural integrity.

The reinforced packaging and the high-heat treatment is the reason UHT
milk can sit happily at room temperature until opened (after which it
should be treated like any fresh milk: refrigerate and use within a
few days), while pasteurised milk must be refrigerated from factory,
all through the distribution system to the stores, and finally to your
home.

Safe to glug: UHT milk is packed aseptically into the sevenlayered
Swedishpatented Tetra Pak to maintain its long shelf life.
“UHT milk has a nine-month, best-before date, but it is still safe for
consumption up till 12 months,” says Ockerse. “Pasteurised milk has a
shelf life of only 14 days.”

“There are no preservatives in UHT milk. The long shelf life is
guaranteed through high temperature processing and aseptic filling
containers,” Sharizat reiterates.

In many parts of the world, UHT milk is still regarded as suspect, if
not for the presumed presence of preservatives, then for the effects
of the high-heat processing.

“UHT processing does not change the molecular structure of milk,”
explains Sharizat. “However, it does change the configuration of the
proteins. This process is called denaturation, and is also the reason
eggs become hard when boiled and meat becomes firm when cooked.”

UHT milk produced in the early years of the technology’s development
was characterised by a strong burnt taste, an effect of Maillard
browning caused by the high-heat treatment. But UHT milk production
has experienced quantum leaps of improvement since then.

Automated machines do the packing work.
Studies have discovered that by altering the processing parameters of
UHT milk, such as using indirect steam injection rather than direct
heat application, and increasing the speed at which the milk is cooled
after heating, the resulting milk tastes sweeter, and the burnt taste
is significantly reduced to the point where it is not discernible to
most consumers.

The addition of epicatechin, an antioxidant-rich flavonoid compound
abundant in tea and chocolate, has also been found to reduce the
“cooked” aroma of UHT milk. But for those wary of additives, a quick
check of the label should reveal if there are additives in your milk,
and the nutritional content is shown on the pack, too.

“UHT milk has the same nutritional goodness as pasteurised milk, and a
similar taste profile,” says Srivastava. “Like fresh milk, UHT milk is
a rich source of over 10 essential nutrients, including calcium,
phosphorus, potassium, riboflavin, potassium, vitamins A and B12,
magnesium, carbohydrate, protein and zinc.”

“UHT processing does not change the nutritional content of milk,”
concurs Sharizat, “but it can affect digestive properties, which is
mainly of importance to newborns,” and by extension, expecting
mothers.

“The only nutrients affected by heat treatment are some of the
vitamins, especially vitamin C. This is, however, not present in
significant amounts in milk,” says Sharizat. Hence, we don’t usually
rely on milk for our intake of vitamin C. “Losses for other vitamins
are minimal,” she adds.

“Based on the Malaysian Adult Nutrition Survey published in 2008, we
know that protein and vitamin A intake in Malaysia is at the
recommended level, but calcium intake is on average only at about 50%
of the recommended value. This is a clear indication that Malaysian
adults are not consuming sufficient amounts of dairy products,”
observes Sharizat.

I have an old fashioned remedy that my father used to use and it really does work great. Take a three or four tablespoons of baking soda and mix it with water stir it all up and drink granted it tastes nasty but within ten minutes you will get the biggest belch of your life. One Huge burp and no passing gas, pain in the stomach gone. I used to take prescription drugs for this and now i just take out the good old Arm and Hammer baking soda for less than a buck and have a home remedy that works better than any drug you could buy. Go ahead and give it a shot it works for me.

Get Ready Saints of God!

Rick Joyner A Year For The Ages
Week 1, 2012 The New Year is always a time for hope, and hope is one of the most powerful forces. It is often a time when we resolve to fulfill certain vows like getting in shape, spending more time with family, or being faithful to certain spiritual disciplines like more prayer or Bible study. These often help people focus enough to actually accomplish them, certainly a good thing. This is the year the Mayan calendar, which indicated it would be the end of the world. As the Apostle Paul wrote about the Cretan prophets, that they were right about what they were saying about the Cretans, even false prophets can be right about some things. In a way, I think the Mayan calendar is right—this year will mark the end of this world as we know it. I am not prophesying that this year will be the end of the world, or the end of the age, or the second coming of Christ. I am saying radical changes are coming to the whole world this year. Whether they turn out for good or bad will depend more on the body of Christ than any other factor. This year will be the greatest opportunity we’ve had, not just in our generation, but maybe ever. Times of change are usually steered by a small number of people, and if just a small part of the body of Christ wakes up and gets engaged, the impact this year can be greater than ever. I do not know exactly how this will play out, but I know that it will. We all “see in part” and “prophesy in part.” After personally going through several years with very little prophetic revelation, I have been getting a download recently and almost all of it has to do with the body of Christ waking up and getting engaged. The reason I have not received much revelation in the last five years is because I was given an assignment and a promise that if I was faithful, I would get the greatest revelation I have ever had at the end of this assignment. Even so, I have been given a download recently because the times are so critical. The most critical issue coming upon us right now is that the greatest revival and ingathering in history is nearly upon us, and we are not ready for it. Several prophetic friends have been hearing from the Lord, “Small is the next big.” I was told that this is true and was shown one way it applied. As I shared in last week’s WFTW, when I was given the vision of the harvest in 1987, I saw two waves of revival coming. One began a couple of years later and lasted about sixteen years. Though it swept through South and Central America, Africa, and Asia with the greatest ingathering of new believers in history, it just about missed North America and Europe. I then saw a period of relative quiet before another, much larger wave swept across the whole earth that would be the greatest move of God in history. We are at the end of this period of relative spiritual quiet that I saw, and the next wave is nearly upon us. In this second wave that I saw, there were congregations of one hundred people that were adding a thousand new believers a week. This sounds wonderful, and it was, but it also brought enormous stress upon the churches. These new believers will need healing, deliverance, and teaching in sound biblical truth. Christians who had taught or spoken in a church service were suddenly leading large congregations of new believers. We might think that mega churches would be adding tens of thousands of new believers a week in such a harvest, but that was not the case. All churches will be adding people, but the mega churches were not adding thousands like the small churches—only a relative few. This was because they were less prepared for the harvest than the smaller churches. The reason they were not as prepared was they had been devoted to building programs rather than people, and the smaller churches had done a better job building their people. This is not true of all mega churches, and it is not true of all smaller churches, but it is generally true. We must get ready for the ingathering. Every farmer knows that when it is harvest time, you cannot waste time—it is all hands on deck. There are many things we need to do to be ready, but the main thing is to help every present member of our congregations be true disciples of Christ, knowing their gifts, ministries, and being released to use them—the Ephesians 4 mandate. We have a short period of time to prepare for the work of a lifetime. This is the time that the prophets and righteous of old desired to see, and we have been called to live in them. This is the year to get engaged in the work of the kingdom like we never have before. Those who are will begin to see it like never before. The kingdom of God is at hand.

Thought Provoking

There was professor in a college that had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab, the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt. The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist regime.
In the midst of his story, he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked: "Do you know how to catch wild pigs?"

The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line.
The young man said that it was no joke. "You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free corn. "When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence.

"They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. "The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat that free corn again. You then slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd. Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom.

They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity."

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening in Malaysia. The government keeps pushing toward the Bumiputras and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of salary increments for the civil servants, programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, special bumi privileges, tax exemptions, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc. while we continually lose our freedom, just a little at a time.

One should always remember two truths:
1: There is no such thing as a free lunch, and
2: you can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.

If you see that all of this wonderful government 'help' is a problem confronting the future of democracy in Malaysia, you might want to send this on to your friends. If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life, then you will probably delete this email. But help us all when the gate slams shut!

13. Using a pen and made a mistake? Take the outside of the cucumber and
slowly use it to erase the pen writing, also works great on crayons and
markers that the kids have used to decorate the walls!! Enjoyed this article? Have a pleasant day eating cucumber!

Braille Translation Software

To produce correctly formatted and coded braille on a braille embosser you will need Braille Translation Software. A document prepared by a word processing program is loaded into the translation software and can be edited if necessary. The resulting braille document is then sent to the embosser to produce a hard copy in braille. Such software can produce either uncontracted or contracted braille.
The choice of which translation software to use with a braille embosser will depend upon whether you can read braille or not, and the nature of the material you wish to emboss.
Basic translation software can be very accurate for everyday printed material, but may not be suitable if specialist characters or layout are needed such as for mathematical, scientific or music notation.
Demonstration versions of braille translation software and information on braille embossers can be downloaded from the Internet.
Prices start from $300.

Get Over a Stomach Ache

Problems with stomach aches can be corrected with a slight change of dieting and or reform of activities. The following is information on how to best help teens to live with frequentstinfrequent stomach problems.

Steps

1. 1
Pour a glass of drinking water and mix about two tablespoons of baking soda into it. Drink it with ease and afterwards, try not to move.
2. 2
Sit down and be immobile, don't even try to attempt small acts of exercise such as turning the television channel or sitting up and laughingstyellingddTh helps your stomach.
3. 3
Place a damp towel over your head, either warm, cold, or hot. This helps in cooling down your temperature, I say, "Either warm, cold, or hot," because, depending on your body's current temperature, you can decide which is best for your forehead. Do that by taking your temperature, try experimenting between warm and cool by turning up the thermostat to warm or cool, whichever helps your condition, you continue to keep that going.
4. 4
Take in small portions of non-acidic foods, do not eat big portions during your stomach ache.
5. 5
Lie on your belly on a soft cushion to bring pressure to your spleen, and watch a movie, play a video game, etc. Sit five feet from any moving screen, but, if dizziness has taken over, do not sit near a screen at all.
6. 6
Keep off any artificial lighting, open the blinds or windows instead.
7. 7
Stay away from certain foods/drinks that could bother your nose with their smell, for instance, chips, dips, and strongly odored condiments.
8. 8
If dizziness has overcome you and you can no longer lift your head, it would be wise to call a doctor and explain your symptoms.

Sitting too long causes aches and reduces work productivity

PETALING JAYA: Sitting down too long for whatever reason is bad for
you and your employer.

It causes back pain and reduces productivity especially since the
condition is common among office workers of all ages.

Occupational health physician Dr Abed Onn lists low back pain as one
of the three most common work-related ailments, alongside
noise-induced loss of hearing and upper limb muscular disorder.

In the absence of reliable statistics, he based his assesment on cases
he has handled in the course of his work.

Back to the problem: While it is a common perception that low back
pain is more of an ‘old man disease,’ doctors are seeing more cases of
low back pain in fairly young individuals, even those who are in their
early 30s.
Dr Abed said that low back pain, along with similar painful
conditions, was the cause of suffering and reduced productivity.

Dispelling popular belief, he said: “Low back pain is not an old man's
ailment. I am seeing more cases of low back pain in fairly young
individuals, even people in their early 30s.”

According to orthopaedic and spine surgeon Dr Siow Yew Siong, office
workers suffer mostly sprained and strained low backs as well as early
degeneration of the spine due to the sedentary nature of office work.

“Sprains and strains are much more common than actual spinal
diseases,” said Dr Siow. “Poor sitting posture, poor office ergonomics
(designing of equipment to fit the human body), wrong lifting
techniques and prolonged sitting can cause sprains and undue strain to
your back.”

Wearing high heels can also cause the misalignment of the spine, hips,
knees and ankles and result in low back pain, he added.

“Most low back pain can be treated without surgery,” Dr Siow said.

The first line of treatment for low back pain is usually rest,
physiotherapy and medication, he added.

Some stretching exercises can also speed up recovery and help
strengthen back and abdominal muscles.

If these fail, Dr Siow said, pain-relieving injections and, as a last
resort, surgery would be considered.

He added: “Sprains and strains usually abate by themselves with time,
but if patients have spinal diseases without symptoms, we usually
advise them to be vigilant and do back strengthening exercises.”

Like most diseases, prevention is better than cure for low back pain.

In the office, employers should provide ergonomically designed
equipment like adjustable seats and working surfaces, Dr Abed said.

He added that software programmes that remind computer users to take
micro-breaks would also help.

My Experience In My Workplace

Dear readers,
I'm so sorry for not posting for almost 1 and half weeks. My laptop was infected by 2 types of viruses and was sent to the shop for repair. I just got it back last night..Before the first day of my work, I slept late that night. I went to bed aroun 12 am.. I talked to someone to alleviate my worries. On the first day of my work, I was really worried. I was afraid of the challenges to come and facing my colleagues. The first 3 days, I was working as a telephonist. Even to answer phone calls, I was afraid. I worried how to convey messages. I worried whether I enterpreted the .messages wrongly. Since the office telephone do not have extension line, I've to seek help from my colleagues to shout to my boss when passing the line. People said my voice is too soft. I can't change my voice. I'd operation before.. First day of my work already have lots of challenges. Now, I understand what is life.. What are the sufferings that we may face in our workplace. Lots of problems.. Problems?? racism, unfairness, gossiping, sexual harrassment, greed for money, and so on.. Some of my colleagues are not friendly and some are lazy.. I thought work is fun at first but later on I found I began to dislike my workplace.. I'm going to pour my anger here as I've no one to talk to now.. But one thing is needed dear readers. Please keep whatever I've shared confidentially. Thanks for your cooperation.. While waiting for my STPM result, I'm working at Sarawak Society for the Blind as a telephonist in the morning and a teacher in the afternoon. Work is so stressful.. This boss says this thing and that boss says another thing.. Not only that,.. I'm bullied.. Since I'm teaching the adults who are blind, they bully me to do everything for them.. They have lots of suggestions and want me to listen to them. I've headache and feel sick.. My boss even asked me about my family and I just told her everything she asked.. In the end, after I told her I even worry when to wash my hair, I was given a name" miss worry". My boss told everyone I'm a miss worry. I feel that not everyone can be trusted.. Why people can't shut their mouth? Hey.. stop please... Not only that. I'm angry.. Colleagues and boss says I'm very thin. I've lost 4 kg,, definitely I know but please keep quiet. You don't have to tell everyone that I've lost 4 kg and feed me with all sorts of food.. My colleagus only love to eat but dislike to work.. I dislike to hear their gossiping about my boss.. As a teacher, I've to teach by holding their hands when writing abc's in braille. I'm teaching braille and computer.. My female boss says I've to teach braille first and just concentrate on braille first while my male boss says I've to take turn: one day teach braille and the next day teach computer.. I don't know which advise to listen. and my female boss keep changing her mind.. This gives me headache.. and, students are very stubborn.. They don't come on time.. When work start at 2 pm, they come 15 minutes or 1 hour later.. I feel so upset but hard to advise them.. I've advised them but they refuse to listen. how? complain to my boss? have to find sometime. When I teach, I've to teach one by one and not only that. I've to teach a girl who is not only blind but at the same time death and mentally retarted,. She's slow learner and hard to be taught as she doesn't understand what I teach. She often laugh by herself and cry after laughing.. and, she bang the table and scold people around.. She tear the paper.. I've headache and stressed out. I don't know how to deal with her. I'm asked to take care of her and sit next to her.. I'm afraid of her as I tried to hold her shoulder when talking to her but she doesn't respond.. how? My colleagues and students said everything is my responsibility.. I've to teach her even she has lots of disabilities.. Sometimes, I feel like not teaching her but I can't as I feel guilty.. I've lots of students to pay attention to. Now, I understand that teachers can't pay attention to me as they have many students to pay attention to. I'm an untrain teacher.. so, the first day of my teaching, I didn't teach well so students did not want to attend my class the next day till now.. Why don't they give me a chance to improve? How am I going to take attendants? I've to take attendants, switch on and off the aircon and fan and light, arrange the chairs and tables, prepare matterials for them, walk up and down the stairs few times to get things for them, and, above all, I've to stand up when teaching.. I've no time to sit down.. Everyone is calling on me. Even, I've to help them punch hole for their file and papers. Students can do all these things by themselves. But they just bully me.. and, I've to listen to their advice.. students, I know you are older than me.. but you all have showed disrespect to me... don't you all think I'm angry? When I teach you, I patiently teach and I don't scold when you ask questions many many times. I just keep the anger to myself.. But now, I can't stand. I feel so disappointed with your character.. After c n y, the number of students will be increased. how??? stress stress stress... some ppl want this and some want that.. how???? I fell like crying out but I can't cry.. These challenges have taught me to be strong.. and, I'm not given a payment for my work.. I don't mind to work as a volunteer but ppl are over demanding and taking advantage of me.. Some kind people have donated ang pau to the centre regarding to c n y. My colleagues are very greedy. They said words that can hurt me much. not only that. They even harrassed me.. They are female colleagues.. They pulled my jeans and touched my private part.. Few month ago, a male touched my private part and I told my colleague.. That male called my colleague saying he was just joking with me.. How can this be? Of course ppl won't admit when they are doing something embarrassing, right??? I'm confused. this is serious.. what should I do?? My father is one of the committee at the centre. should I tell him? what if he tell the boss, won't the boss scold them and my colleagues will scold me back and do not want to talk to me???? I don't mind if ppl comfort me by holding my hand and shoulder when I'm sad or down.. but this is different. ppl are taking advantage of me.. How to say "no" to ppl who aren't doing something right??? I'm going to stop thinking about problems in my workplace now since tomorrow is the first day of c n y and I'm given one-week holiday. I'm going to enjoy my holiday.. I felt sick last Thursday as I had a bad cough, flu, sorethroat, pain here and their and tiredness. I went to bed early around 9 pm.. How to solve tiredness?? Why does God give me lots of challenges? I also aim for perfection as I'm worried my boss aim for perfection. When I take attendants, I made sure their is no typing error, and I like everything to be done fast.. Some colleagues are very hypocrites but not to mention their names... They only are good to me when my father is around... Lots of problems at Blind Centre. how? Last Friday, I knocked a blind man as I was holding a tray when throwing rubbish.. The curry spilled off my jeans and shirt and I'd to go home.. The chef is so helpful. She told me since I'm new, she can help me wash and throw rubbish but I feel embarrassed to do so.. but this is to avoid incidents happening.. Sometimes, I've to learn to survive. The aircon is too cold at blind centre but I'm afraid to tell my boss and colleagues.. I thought I've to learn to survive?? should I tell if I need anything? I'm not used to use a big tray when eating.. I'm very quiet in my workplace. When I do my work my principe is "work more and talk less".. Sometimes, a talkative person may gossip others. I'm not sure if my colleagues gossip me but I guess I do work to please the Lord.. Never mind, God is by my side.. How to overcome stress in work????this is all for now. Happy Chinese New Year to all..
God bless and have a wonderfull holiday.

Friends

READ THIS!!!! and then reread it. Especially the last part...

I walked into the grocery store not particularly interested in buying
groceries. I wasn't hungry. The pain of losing my husband of 57 years
was still too raw. And this grocery store held so many sweet memories.

He often came with me and almost every time he'd pretend to go off and
look for something special. I knew what he was up to. I'd always spot
him walking down the aisle with the three yellow roses in his hands.

He knew I loved yellow roses. With a heart filled with grief, I only
wanted to buy my few items and leave, but even grocery shopping was
different since he had passed on.

Shopping for one took time, a little more thought than it had for two.

Standing by the meat, I searched for the perfect small steak and
remembered how he had loved his steak.

Suddenly a woman came beside me. She was blonde, slim and lovely in a
soft green pantsuit. I watched as she picked up a large package of
T-bones, dropped them in her basket.. hesitated, and then put them
back. She turned to go and once again reached for the pack of steaks

She saw me watching her and she smiled. 'My husband loves T-bones, but
honestly, at these prices, I don't know.'

I swallowed the emotion down my throat and met her pale blue eyes.

'My husband passed away eight days ago,' I told her. Glancing at the
package in her hands, I fought to control the tremble in my voice.
'Buy him the steaks. And cherish every moment you have together.'

She shook her head and I saw the emotion on in her eyes as she placed
the package in her basket and wheeled away.

I turned and pushed my cart across the length of the store to the
dairy products. There I stood, trying to decide which size milk I
should buy. A Quart, I finally decided and moved on to the ice cream.
If nothing else, I could always fix myself an ice cream cone.

I placed the ice cream in my cart and looked down the aisle toward the
front. I saw first the green suit, then recognized the pretty lady
coming towards me. In her arms she carried a package. On her face was
the brightest smile! I had ever seen. I would swear a soft halo
encircled her blonde hair as she kept walking toward me, her eyes
holding mine.

As she came closer, I saw what she held and tears began misting in my
eyes. 'These are for you,' she said and placed three beautiful long
stemmed yellow roses in my arms. 'When you go through the line, they
will know these are paid for.' She leaned over and placed a gentle
kiss on my cheek, then smiled again. I wanted to tell her what she'd
done, what the roses meant, but still unable to speak, I watched as
she walked away as tears clouded my vision.

I looked down at the beautiful roses nestled in the green tissue
wrapping and found it almost unreal. How did she know? Suddenly the
answer seem ed so clear. I wasn't alone.

Oh, you haven't forgotten me, have you? I whispered, with tears in my
eyes. He was still with me, and she was his angel.

Every day be thankful for what you have and who you are.
(Please read all of this, it is really nice)

This is a simple request. If you appreciate life, send this to your
friends, including the person that sent it to you

Even though I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings. Thank
you, Lord, that I can hear. There are many who are deaf.

Even though I keep my eyes closed against the morning light as long as
possible. Thank you, Lord , that I can see. Many are blind.

Even though I huddle in my bed and put off rising. Thank you, Lord,
that I have the strength to rise. There are many who are bedridden.

Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost,
toast is burned, tempers are short, and my children are so loud.

Thank you, Lord, for my family. There are many who are lonely.

Even though our breakfast table never looks like the picture in
magazines and the menu is at times unbalanced.

Thank you, Lord, for the food we have. There are many who are hungry.

Even though the routine of my job often is monotonous. Thank you,
Lord, for the opportunity to work. There are many who have no job.

Even though I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day and wish my
circumstances were not so modest.

Thank you, Lord, for life.

Pass this on to the friends you know It might help a bit to make this
world a better place to live, right? A friend is someone we turn to
when our spirits need a lift. A friend is someone to treasure.

For friendship is a gift. A friend is someone who fills our lives with
Beauty, Joy and Grace and makes the world we live in a better and
happier place.

YOU ARE MY FRIEND!

God bless you .
