Get Over a Stomach Ache

Problems with stomach aches can be corrected with a slight change of dieting and or reform of activities. The following is information on how to best help teens to live with frequentstinfrequent stomach problems.

Steps

1. 1
Pour a glass of drinking water and mix about two tablespoons of baking soda into it. Drink it with ease and afterwards, try not to move.
2. 2
Sit down and be immobile, don't even try to attempt small acts of exercise such as turning the television channel or sitting up and laughingstyellingddTh helps your stomach.
3. 3
Place a damp towel over your head, either warm, cold, or hot. This helps in cooling down your temperature, I say, "Either warm, cold, or hot," because, depending on your body's current temperature, you can decide which is best for your forehead. Do that by taking your temperature, try experimenting between warm and cool by turning up the thermostat to warm or cool, whichever helps your condition, you continue to keep that going.
4. 4
Take in small portions of non-acidic foods, do not eat big portions during your stomach ache.
5. 5
Lie on your belly on a soft cushion to bring pressure to your spleen, and watch a movie, play a video game, etc. Sit five feet from any moving screen, but, if dizziness has taken over, do not sit near a screen at all.
6. 6
Keep off any artificial lighting, open the blinds or windows instead.
7. 7
Stay away from certain foods/drinks that could bother your nose with their smell, for instance, chips, dips, and strongly odored condiments.
8. 8
If dizziness has overcome you and you can no longer lift your head, it would be wise to call a doctor and explain your symptoms.
